On a recent poll, we asked you whether you would like to see more around ‘money mindset’ and an overwhelming amount of you said yes! 100% of the poll on Instagram said yes in fact.

I hope that you are following us on Instagram? And I hope you get involved with our polls as we do take them very seriously!

So money mindset is the way you think and act around money. As a general rule, most successful people have an excellent relationship with money, and most unsuccessful people do not.

And even though this is a vast generalisation, you can see why it is essential to assess your own money mindset.

Over a series of blog posts, we are going to delve into the steps that you can take to start healing your money mindset.

But for now, in this post, we want to address 3 things before we get started into the series.

In a nutshell, here are the 3 main takeaways I want you to take from this:

  1. Money is energy.
  2. Money needs a purpose.
  3. Money is not evil.

Ok, so now all of that is in the open, let's go a little deeper.

Money Is Energy

Now this series will be a little 'woo woo' for some people, but I want to put this idea to you.

The money in your wallet right now, what is it? In it's most basic form? A piece of paper.
The money on your internet banking screen or app right now, what is it? In it's most basic form? A number.

The number and the piece of paper itself is worthless. It is the value that we give it.

To really hound my point, the only difference between a £5 note and a £50 note is the energy we give it.

And the thing about energy is that it is infinite.

So, how does this help you? If energy is infinite, and money is energy, then we do not need to find making money difficult as it is infinite. If someone else earns a lot of money, then it does not mean that cannot make a lot of money either.

So to attract money. Yes, I said 'attract' not 'make', like I said, this may be too woo-woo for some people.

So in order to attract money, we must match our frequency to the abundance of money.

Money Needs a Purpose

There are so many ways in which to attract money and raise our frequency. But one of the most important things you need to do is to give money a purpose.

Many of us work so hard, but do not know exactly what for.

Ideally, you need to know exactly how much money you need for said purpose.

Like I said money is energy, and energy needs to flow, so giving it a purpose helps it do that.

So if you would like to create a certain amount of money in your business, have an idea of where that money will go. In your head (or journal) write down how much of it will go to HMRC. How much of it will you take as dividends? How much of it will you draw out of the business (and for what)? How much of it will go on business development (and where you would spend it)?  What charities you would donate to and how much? You get the idea. If you want to go in-depth, then start planning for it.

Acting as if you have already got it. Look into what company you would use for your social media, what new products you would release, where you would go on holiday.

Giving money a purpose is one of the most powerful things you can do. It changes your entire outlook when you know where the money will be going, how it will improve your life and how you can use it to help others.

Money Is Not Evil

Which leads me nicely onto telling you right now: MONEY IS NOT EVIL.

Money is energy.

So if you use money for good. To serve others. To enhance your life. To do good. Then there will be good results.

If you use money to do evil, then there will be bad results. It is not money that is evil it is the person using it for wrong reasons.

More money does not equal more problems. Get that idea out of your head, right now.

As I said, it all comes down to the purpose you have for it.

Hopefully, this has given you a good insight as to what is to come as part of our money mindset series. You should now have a good idea as to how money, energy and purpose are all linked.
