4 Apps That Will Raise Your Insta Game

Instagram. It’s one of the most powerful ways to get your message heard and if you haven’t got a business Instagram page yet, you really should! We personally have gained 5 new clients, solely from Instagram alone in the last 4 months. Averaging at more than 1 client a month, that’s pretty good for a direct lead coming from a social media platform! We have recently shared with you, our ‘10 Tips To Rock Your Business Instagram Feed’ and now we thought we would share with you some of our most favourite apps that help us get our images Instaworthy!

Word Swag

This app definitely has swag! Upload your own photo or choose any from their photo bank and add watermarks, quotes and tags over pictures. The best part? All of this can be done from your iphone!

Canva

We have to admit, once we discovered Canva, our use for Wordswag lessened. Canva is a more pimped up version of Word Swag where you can design your own social media headings, business leaflets, quote images and much more. We love the feature that allows you to save your company colours so creating branded images has just got a whole lot easier!

Facetune

Facetune. Branded as a way to improve your selfies it does a lot more than just that! We love how user-friendly the app is. Our favourite tools are the following:

  • Details: Details sharpens the image, ideal if you want the attention drawn to a particular part of the picture.

  • Whiten: You know when you take a photo, and the light makes everything look yellow and un-aesthetically pleasing? With a few flicks of your finger in Facetune, this can be gone with their whitening tool.

  • Tones: This one is for the perfectionists. With tones, you can pick out a particular colour and ‘paint’ areas of your photo with that colour. For example people with whites and neutrals could choose a shade of grey to colour in a table in their photo.

Afterlight

Afterlight is an excellent app for playing around with the brightness, contrast, exposure and other editing tools. For those of you that are particular about the artistic theme of your Instagram page,  you can give your image borders, filters and colour tints.

Got another app to add to the list? Let us know on Instagram, and come and say hi!
