Building Extra Income as A Blogger

Working with big brands and getting free products is exciting.

However, more often than not they are sporadic, and you can not count on them to be in a certain month. Which is why creating a product is so vital to becoming a financially successful blogger.

So with this in mind, we wanted to share with you 4 product ideas to help you grow your revenue streams.

Subscription Based Products

It's kind of obvious, but I have to say it: as you build your subscription-based products you build your regular monthly income. Which is awesome for cash flow and stability.

Whether you look into a subscription box model (Deck of Scarlet is a great example of this) or an e-subscription; think about what your followers would like.

Why are e-products so great? Well, there is little overheads, no logistical issues to overcome and you can eventually outsource elements of the product, so it becomes more of a passive income. Think along the lines of workbooks, courses and guides.

I am sure you are no stranger to collaborations, so I do not have to tell you all the benefits. So start thinking about brands that fit into your own brand avatar. Think about what brands you have enjoyed working with before and go them directly with your collaboration ideas. Although it is flattering to have a brand ask to do a collaboration, sometimes you have to go get it instead of waiting for it to come to you.

Niche Products

Say your niche is fashion. Your goal may be to start your own fashion line. But sometimes that is not financially feasible. But the main thing to focus on is to start, so start small. Focus on an accessory for example, such as sunglasses. Sunglasses are relatively inexpensive to make, and you will not need to fill as many orders for the factory as you would clothing. So what now? Think about your niche, be it fitness, lifestyle, beauty and think of what product you could start small on.
