There’s An App For That
There is an app for most things these days. Look into apps that allow you to incorporate fitness into your day by working out wherever you are, a hotel room, the office, the park, wherever.
Start with a little goal, even only 5 minutes and build on it. You can get apps for yoga, meditation, running and more!
Height Adjustment Desks
Install height adjustment desks. Studies show that you are more likely to move around when you are standing up!
Office Exercise Equipment
Another office investment, but a worthwhile. By installing office workout equipment you can kill two birds with one stone and work out while you work.
Pomodoro That To Do List
You can find out more about the Pomodoro method here. However, we are going to use the Pomodoro method to get through both your to-do list and your exercise quota. Use the break periods in the Pomodoro method to work out. Consider taking a short walk, even just getting up and walking around the office! Alternatively, look into the 7-minute workout apps, 7 minutes may be a little longer than your given break but try and incorporate something similar into your routine.
Compete With Yourself
Find a route and time yourself to see how long it takes for you to walk/ run around. Time yourself each time and try and to better or match your score. Once you get an idea of how long it will take you, you can incorporate this into your routine.
Organise a group workout session on a weekly or monthly basis. Think about something that will act a team building activity and is accessible to everyone.
Make It A Date
Treat your workout sessions like important meetings with your dream body- not an appointment to be missed! Even better make a date with a friend to work out. Studies show that people who workout with a buddy are less likely to cancel!
Stock the fridge with coconut water, get the cupboards filled with healthy teas and snacks. Making healthy options accessible will help you make the right choice when hunger hits.
